Shane was born in Dallas Texas, and was raised in the HEB area of Dallas/Fort Worth. He moved to east Texas in 1999, and began working for an IT company. He has spent time as a freight broker, and working in the oil & gas industry. In 2017 he began working in fiber optics, and remains in that industry today.

Chelsey was born and raised in Longview Texas. She spent most of her adult life as a mom and a hair dresser. She spent most of her professional years working for other people until she opened her own salon. She finally gave that up in 2019 to be a full time mom.
